Since 1994, Cooperativa Solagri has pursued the dream of bringing to table all the taste of Campania’s citruses. Thanks to the president Mariano Valentino Vinaccia and his attachment to his native land, the company has grown a lot and over 300 farms joined it. Sorrentine lemons are an excellence produced in the coastal area of Campania, particularly in the Sorrentine Peninsula and in the island of Capri. They grow under the so-called “pergolato” and the Cooperativa Solagri is committed to protect and promote their production. Only the best “ovals” are used in the production of Sorrentine lemon marmalade. An authentic and genuine product made with sugar and 85% of fruit.
This variety gives the marmalade an intense aroma of freshly picked lemon. The sugar and the long cooking give a dense texture and a sweet and balanced flavor, which is perfect to enrich both the salty and the sweet gastronomy. We recommend pairing the Sorrentine Lemon Marmalade with aged cheeses and boiled meats. Also excellent in the preparation of pies and biscuits.
