FRANTOIO TINI
For four generations, the Frantoio Tini has handed down the art of a high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Nestled in the hills of Abruzzo, the farm is currently managed with passion by Carmine Tini and his family. Their oils are a perfect combination between tradition and innovation: only the best local olives within 20km are artisanally processed in modern mills, so as to preserve all the properties of this precious fruit.
The Frantoio Tini’s productions are an artwork in name and in fact. Botticelli, Leonardo, Caravaggio, Giotto, Tintoretto, Mantegna and Bernini: the seven types of oil are named after some of the most important Italian painters and sculptors. Thanks to the colourful packaging and the authentic taste of 100% Italian olive oil, receiving a bottle of this oil is a unique experience in which all the senses are involved. The quality of Frantoio Tini is recognized nationally and internationally. The company was selected in the Leone d’Oro International Olive Oil Competition and included in the prestigious guides Flos Olei and Oli d’Italia by Gambero Rosso.
Among the extra virgin olive oils, Tintoretto is a medium fruity oil only made with local olives belonging to the Italian variety Castiglionese. This rare cultivar is named after the town of Castiglione Messer Raimondo, where it is mainly widespread. For this reason Tintoretto is a unique product, strongly connected with its land of origin
It is characterized by a bitter and spicy taste, with vegetable notes of tomato, almond and aromatic herbs. We suggest pairing it with cold appetizers such as caprese salad with tomato and mozzarella cheese and fresh cheeses. Also ideal with hot dishes such as soups and legumes. Finally, it is perfect to enhance second courses such as roast meat and grilled
fish.
