NDUJA FROM SPILINGA
The most representative product of Calabrian gastronomic excellence. It is prepared with the fatty parts of the pig, with the addition of Calabrian hot pepper, stuffed in the blind casing (orba) and smoked.

Nduja is produced in Calabria, precisely in Spilinga, a small town on the slopes of the Poro plateau, in the province of Vibo Valentia. Its name derives from the French “andouille“, which means sausage. It is part of the PAT certified Italian excellences, that is Traditional Agri-Food Products. Nduja does not need preservatives, thanks to the abundant content of chilli pepper, which, in addition to guaranteeing its maintenance, helps the body thanks to its antiseptic properties.
