FRANTOIO TINI
For four generations, the Frantoio Tini has handed down the art of a high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Nestled in the hills of Abruzzo, the farm is currently managed with passion by Carmine Tini and his family. Their oils are a perfect combination between tradition and innovation: only the best local olives within 20km are artisanally processed in modern mills, so as to preserve all the properties of this precious fruit.
The Frantoio Tini’s productions are an artwork in name and in fact. Botticelli, Leonardo, Caravaggio, Giotto, Tintoretto, Mantegna and Bernini: the seven types of oil are named after some of the most important Italian painters and sculptors. Thanks to the colourful packaging and the authentic taste of 100% Italian olive oil, receiving a bottle of this oil is a unique experience in which all the senses are involved. The quality of Frantoio Tini is recognized nationally and internationally. The company was selected in the Leone d’Oro International Olive Oil Competition and included in the prestigious guides Flos Olei and Oli d’Italia by Gambero Rosso.
Among the company’s productions, Giotto is an extra virgin olive oil from organic agriculture, obtained from cold-pressed italian olives. The main variety is frantoio, followed by leccino, rosciola and dritta. The oil has a strong and medium-fruity taste, with notes of wild herbs, rosemary and yellow fruit.
Thanks to the perfect combination of bitter and spicy taste, this oil is particularly versatile. Ideal to accompany aged cheeses and to enrich cooked vegetables and legume soups. Also excellent to enhance different methods of cooking of meat and fish, such as grills and carpaccio.
