“SANT’EUSTACHIO IL CAFFÈ” coffee bar
Located in the heart of Rome, close to Piazza Navona, “Sant’Eustachio il Caffè” is one of the oldest coffee bars in Italy. The coffee there is processed the old-fashioned way, using traditional techniques handed down over the years.
Sant’Eustachio coffee is made with the finest 100% Arabica coffee beans, slowly wood-roasted to highlight the qualities of every single bean.
Fine coffee beans are coated in high-quality dark chocolate to make Dark Chocolate Coffee Truffles, one of the most popular products of this coffee bar. These truffles are delicious and are characterized by a mild and balanced taste and a sweet and delicate aroma.
Dark Chocolate Coffee Truffles are crunchy and tasty and they are perfect to enjoy at any time of the day.
Not everyone knows that, in 1996, a French tourist, Eric Favre, when tasting Sant’Eustachio coffee asked the barista how he could have made such a good coffee. The answer was “I only pressed a button”, it inspired him and he created one of the most famous coffee machines in the world: the Nespresso coffee machine.
